• Our auctions are different from eBay's and involve paying upfront to place bids on items.  Before investing your money, please make sure to read our entire tutorial as it is possible to lose money if you do not use our Buy It Now or Loyalty Bucks features.
• Winning our auctions requires skill and patience. Before jumping in, watch a live auction for a few minutes to learn how it works.  Can you figure out a winning strategy?  Can you outfox the competition?
• If you don’t win an auction, we don’t want you to lose the money you just invested.  We have two ways you can earn your money back:  our Buy it Now feature allows you to buy any auction item at a discount equal to all the bids you placed and our Loyalty Bucks are good for discounts in our Rewards Store. In some specific instances, we cannot offer the Buy It Now option. When this happens the Buy It Now button is removed and in its place we have clearly marked “Buy It Now not available”. Remember to use these features to ensure that you don't lose money if you don't win the auction.

How BigDeal.com Works

	Buy Bid Tokens to Bid on Auctions Our auctions are different from eBay’s.  You need to first buy Bid Tokens to play.  Bid Tokens cost $0.75 each. All auctions start at $0.  Each bid raises the price of the item by $0.15 (less in some auctions) and adds a few seconds to the clock to give everyone a fair chance to bid. If you’re the final bidder when the clock hits zero, you win!
	Auction Winners Get Big Deals on New, Popular Items In addition to the Bid Tokens you used, you pay the final auction price of the auction + a small Shipping & Handling fee. All our items are new and factory-sealed and can be returned within 14 days for a full refund.  You will get your item within 10 business days of your auction win. While every auction is different, our winners save an average of about 65% in our auctions.
	Non-Winners Can Use Buy It Now or Loyalty Bucks If you don't win, you can usually buy the auction item from us at a discount equal to the Bid Tokens you invested in the auction using our Buy It Now feature. Every user also gets $1 of Loyalty Bucks for every $1 spent on Bid Tokens.  Loyalty Bucks can be redeemed for discounts on popular items in our Rewards Store. PLEASE use our Buy It Now and/or Loyalty Bucks feature.  They will help you recoup any losses you may have in our auctions. Remember, Buy It Now and Loyalty Bucks will help ensure that you don't lose your money. Remember, Buy It Now is not available on select auctions. Please make sure to take note of the availability of the Buy It Now auction in any auction in which you participate. Bids used during an auction where Buy It Now is not available can not be used again and can only be used to purchase the item if you are the winner.
